In just one click users can access interactive data and charts about cumulative cases per 100,000 population in the Canary Islands in the last 7 and 14 days, plus the evolution in European markets and Spanish regions.

Updated every day, the statistics are available by clicking on the “Research” tab in the menu at the top of our professional web page. The newly added tool allows us to show the data in interactive tables and charts, making the information more visual, clearer and more intuitive for users.

Data on the Canary Islands, other Spanish regions and Europe

In this section you can view the latest data on Canaries cumulative cases 7-14 days, a comparison of the incidence in Canary Islands vs Europe and the incidence in Spain by regions. The local information is gathered from the Canary Islands Government (Canary Islands Health Service) and the data for the Spanish regions is from the Ministry of Health. All the information is updated every day. The European figures are provided by the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control and published once a week, on Thursdays.

The tool shows the Covid-19 trends and evolution in markets relevant to the Canary Islands.

Monitoring these data allows us to observe the Covid-19 trends and evolution in the Canary Islands, our tourism-generating markets, and competing destinations such as the Balearic Islands.

Before we added the tool to the website, our staff in Research and Connectivity compiled a statistics file with this data and sent it to tour operators, airlines and Spanish Tourism Offices in Europe every day. Now users can access these statistics on our website.
